Sunday 15th August – ROLAND CHADWICK - Since arriving in the UK in 1998, Roland Chadwick has been hailed as a guitarist’s guitarist by the likes of John Renbourn and Tommy Emmanuel. His recordings with Steve Vai, Barriemore Barlow (Jethro Tull) and the English Chamber Orchestra are regarded as classics of their type. Other credits include: Mike Lindup - Level 42, Sir George Martin, Andy Sheppard, Alan Glen – The Yardbirds. Critics have been unanimous in their praise of his virtuosity, versatility and originality – an excellent evening guaranteed!

Sunday 22nd August - ALEX ROBERTS - Alex is back with us again, and we can't wait!    If you haven't had the chance to see Alex you have seriously missed out!! wonderfully atmospheric guitar playing with stunning vocals - catch him now before he gets too famous to play The Good Intent!

Sunday 29th August – THE SHRUBS - Fantastic local band to get you in the mood for the bank holiday weekend! A wonderful selection of music all played in a thoroughly enjoyable set – come down early if you want a seat!

Sunday 5th September - JEZZ - Following the huge success of "One Knight Only" who were amazing at New Year in The Good Intent - we introduce Jezz - back for another solo slot which really shouldn't be missed....fantastic guitar work....definitely a knight to remember!

Sunday 12th September - SMOKESTACK - Back because they’re great!! "Smokestack's approach to the blues is a unique mix of original songs, jazz and Latin grooves, big toned harmonica and sophisticated slide guitar"  ....yep, we agree - a fine night’s entertainment.

Sunday 19th September – UNCORKED - Fantastic local duo playing a mixture of stringed instruments – very chilled music and wonderful playing!

Sunday 26th September – SLIM LIGHTFOOT- "Slim Lightfoot shows himself to both an innovator and an explorer, constantly looking to see where he can take his beloved music next. Wherever it may be it's sure to be one hell of a ride.

Slim Lightfoot plays blues infused music be it a down home old style delta feel to a rip roaring electro like garage blues using loops and found grooves and he uses his much maligned stomp-board to drive the rhythm along.

Every Monday night is The Good Intent Quiz night - all teams are welcome £2 per person including "nibbles" an excellent fun night with a cash prize - starts at 8pm but come down early if you want a seat !!
